Senator Mike DeWine just stated on Fox News that he does not believe that Judge Alito falls into the "extraordinary circumstances" envisioned by the Gang of 14. He also said that he did not think that there would be a filibuster, but that if there were, it is likely that, at the least, both he and Lindsay Graham would vote for the Constitutional Option to shut down the filibuster.

It appears that a Michigan appellate court has overturned a jury award in favor of a client of Geoffrey Fieger because Fieger acted like an ass. Not a big surprise. This guy is basically a worthless loudmouth who would do anything to get himself press.

Byron York hits the nail on the head in this piece criticizing the deal the White House made with Puff Daschle to forego further judicial recess appointments in exchange for the confirmation of certain "non-controversial" nominees.
